Hi,
I'm in need of some advice.
I live in Atlanta, but recently my parents, who live in MA, went on a long vacation. So siezed the opportunity to use my dad's wood shop. I've been working on my boat every single day for the past 3 weeks, and I'm just about to put the cockpit recess. However, I just got a message saying that they need me back at work (I've been working from home for past weeks) next week. I can't leave the kayak at my parents as I would never get the chance to work on it. The question is, what is the best way to move it 1,000 miles?
I do have my fiberglass and epoxy. I don't have enough time to finish it, but I thought maybe I could fiberglass the outside of the hull and deck, then keep it on the forms for the trip down.
Any suggestions?
