In Response To: Other: Moving my project? Help! (nick)
I helped a friend move his '19 exp. single when it was off the (internal strongback) form. We just used strapping tape to put it back on the form and strapped it to the racks. I'd wrap it in a tarp to protect it from the elements over a 1000 mile trip. If you used staples and haven't pulled them out yet, leave them in. The only other problem I can see is if you glass the outsides, they might start to curl and distort unless you keep them on the form. If it's an external strong back, look for a used boat trailer that you can modify. I once hauled a Model A Ford body from Mexico that I welded onto a boat trailer. Didn't need any straps! Good luck
