Sorry, I meant that I was thinking of gluing dynel cord to the joint between the deck and the hull--to cover up the 1/8th" overage and to protect the filled and rounded joint. The joint is filled, but I have not rounded it yet. The dynel is black. Does that make sense? Is it a good way to protect the joint?

: the sheet? I assume you are talking about two diffrent things. for the gap
: you can fill and round it over. The dynel cord I used was glued onto a
: flat spot of the ends before glassing the hull.
