The mouth of the Severn River, Buzzards Bay, Tampa Bay. Boats in our (large) family are available to all. We usually take extra measures to make sure they, and their passengers, are safe. The 4 boats that my immediate family owns are in very good condition and we'd like to keep them that way. Folks in the family that do not own boats oftentimes are not particularly careful with them (try replacing 36 square feet of floor in a sixteen foot daysailer, using vinylester resin when it's 96 degrees outside and you must wear multiple layers of long pants and long-sleeve shirts--you don't want to do it more than once). I'm not worried about my body--I'm worried about constant maintenance brought about because people who use the boat either will not know what they are doing, or, worse, won't care what they are doing. That's all.
