Mike,
Below is a picture of the mold. The coaming ring is layed up on the center mold. Peel ply is layed over the top layer. The second part of the mold (left in picture) is layed over the top and the whole thing is clamped.
The coaming ring on the right is a finished part after it is popped out of the mold and trimmed.
