Well if you are determined to by it, cut the price in half. Then grind off the sharp edges of the seam tape or duct tape over them, buy some floatation bags and go paddle the crap out of it. If it holds together it will be a great beater and you can then build one to pamper and cherish. Put you time in where it will matter.
