: Hi Robert -

: Congrats on launching your boat. Hmm. My guess is it's a Cape Ann Expedition,
: possibly a Cape Ann Storm. Looks too big for an Expedition Sport. It also
: looks like you did a beautiful job. It was a late fall day here on Lake
: Erie and I was out paddling six miles of shoreline with a friend. Great
: time of year to paddle! Just got back from walking down to the lake to
: watch an almost full harvest moon rise over the lake. Life is good!

: Jim

: That's me in my Cape Ann Storm. After comparing the two pics, my guess is
: that your boat's an Expedition. Doesn't look big enough to be a Cape Ann.

Jim,

I haven't been real active on this bulletin board but I've been around enough to admire the boats you've built. I new if anybody would know, it would be you and your second guess was correct. It's a Cape Ann Storm by One Ocean Kayaks. Last April when I decided to build a stripper it was a hard decision to decide which boat to build with so many talented designers with great boats out there such as Nick, Vaclav, and all the others. I did buy and read Nick's book during the process and it was a tremendous help. I'm thinking I may go with a local designer next time and build the Red Fish, Spring Run. The Spring Run would be a good boat for others with little to no experiance that want to go paddeling with me.

Take care....Robert
