Thanks, Robert -

I've really enjoyed my Storm, too. It's a great rough water boat. I'd echo Shawn's comments about the King based upon my talking with Joe Greenley and a few other King paddlers, one who also built a Spring Run. I've got the plans for the King, had been considering the Spring Run and was told the initial stability in the King is great and that it's a better design for chop and rough water than the Spring Run. Maybe you can get your wife in those different models to see what she thinks. Very nice job on the Storm, BTW. I like the matching/contrasting strip pattern.

: Jim,

: I haven't been real active on this bulletin board but I've been around enough
: to admire the boats you've built. I new if anybody would know, it would be
: you and your second guess was correct. It's a Cape Ann Storm by One Ocean
: Kayaks. Last April when I decided to build a stripper it was a hard
: decision to decide which boat to build with so many talented designers
: with great boats out there such as Nick, Vaclav, and all the others. I did
: buy and read Nick's book during the process and it was a tremendous help.
: I'm thinking I may go with a local designer next time and build the Red
: Fish, Spring Run. The Spring Run would be a good boat for others with
: little to no experiance that want to go paddeling with me.

: Take care....Robert
