that's so interesting. it's letting the sheerclamps define the shape assuming that they behave identically.

but what i mean is that the sheer location is already predetermined/predesigned in space in order to do the panel developement of the lower hull pieces. so therefore the beam is absolutely known/designed every inch along the whole deck/hull seam(sheerclamp location) and so therefore the chord of the typically constant radius(i know some flatenning is now being allowed) deck is known, and if constant radius the absolute deck shape panel is fairly simply derived/known.

so why the heck not give an absolute shape for the deck panels.(say within 1/16") or do they? and then one would not get odd sheerclamp sheer shapes.
