Went by Frost on Saturday and all they had was 2'x8' sheets for $40. Then I went over to Rockler on Clairemont Mesa Blvd and they had some very nice light maple 2'x2' for $3.99. Problem solved.
: Also...
: check out Cut and Dried Hardwoods up in Solana Beach on Cedros near the
: beach. They're open all day on Sat, take the Lomas Santa Fe exit, go west,
: down the hill just before the train tracks make a right (south), and go
: down a couple blocks passing the Belly-Up, then pull into their parking
: lot. FYI" they often but stuff from Frost Hardwood, my first choice
: in woods. If you're a member of the SD Woodworkers Association you get a
: discount there and at Cut and Dried. I like the adhesive veneers at Cut
: and Dried.
