In Response To: Material: Is 11/16" to thin? (David Odegard)
Don't worry about it at all, the 1/16 of an inch is next to nothing. For the curves around the chines and other areas, you'll want to think about strips down to 1/2 wide.
You know, now's the time to think about pin-stripes, say 1/4 by 1/4 or 1/4 by 5/16 or something like that. Whatever, you're the boss, you make it happen. Now's the time to do these things.
