This is the answer to your problems, and I can say that because it's not my idea. Bought the magazine a couple weeks ago and it has changed the face of my shop. Particularly of interest are the flip-top work centers in Idea Shop 5. Ive made 2 so far, adjusting the plans to make them the same height as my table saw, so they can double as out-feed tables. I also added a hinged top on one side so the two can be connected with this 'bridge' to create a longer table. After I make a couple more, all my major bench hogging tools will be neatly out of the way and as a bonus I'll be able to connect the work centers together to make a really long scarfing table. There was also room under the tools for a shelf, so alot of my less used hand tools and cases are stored in them as well.
The sight has alot of really nice ideas for maximizing small workshop space. Also has downloadable plans. Let me know what you think. -Ted G
