I've found the curing times in the System 3 manual to be spot-on accurate. I'm 3 months into the build of my Pygmy Arctic Tern and 5 or 6 days from being finished and I hope to begin a couple of Shearwater Mergansers shortly (for my wife and my sister-in-law). I'll be building in my sister-in-law's garage, which I don't want to heat--because it's 2 miles from my house and I can't keep an eye on it. Any suggestions on cold weather, or fast epoxies? I have some System 3 fast hardener that I've used a couple of times in the last few weeks with good results (nighttime temps in the late 40s to mid 50s). I'd be happy staying with the System 3, but wouldn't mind knowing about another product that might be even better.

: DOH! I found the curing times in the System 3 catalog, which I had put aside
: without reading. In fact, there's also a manual on how to use the stuff,
: which was bundled with the unread catalog. Says not to use the stuff I got
: under 55 degrees, with 60 to 77 deg. being the easiest range to work in. I
: *had* read the S&G kit instructions which included suggested temp. range
: (60 to 90) but did not have the estimated cure times for those temps.

: Everything is all set up...plastic drop cloth on the floor, panels assembled
: at the butt joints, wax paper under the joints, weights on either side of
: all the joints (a few of the panels are slightly warped), appropriate
: lengths of FG tape cut and at hand, thermometer and oil radiator in
: place...OK, I can no longer put off stinking up that room!
