Sounds like you have some good ideas going. You might consider an outfeed roller stand with a height adjustment so you don't have to bother getting all your tools the same height. Or two - so you don't need a dedicated table. I also set up my table saw so the outfeed goes out the front door, opening up space inside and keeping the generated dust near the front door too.

Woodworker.com is where I get all my stuff and they've got lots of accessories for things I've never even thought of. Don't forget about lighting (vital) and dust control. By dust control I mean give some thought to where the dust in your shop is generated and find a way to make it easy to clean up. I now do all my routing near the front door or outside - learned that lesson the hard way. Also, don't limit yourself by thinking in 2 dimensions or just right angles. Overhead racks for storing strips or long stock are easy to make and I'm building my boat on the diagonal across the middle of my garage. Your other ideas sound like you've got it under control.
