Haven't built one but I saw their prototype in the store a month ago. Nice looking boat. I didn't consider it for myself because I think I'm too big for it. I'm building another of their boats for my wife, the Solace 16LT. I can say that the quality and attention to detail of their kits is superb. As soon as I finish the 16LT, I'm going to build their Solace 18EX for myself. The rear deck on that is low enough for easy rolls and their other models can be modified to lower the deck as well.

I've also not paddled the Merganser but have heard good things about it. It's supposed to be a very nice all around boat. You can give Eric a call too, he's very willing to talk to you about your questions.
