Actually, if you bother to read what Lee has written, he's bringing up specific issues of boat design and building vs. marketing. You brought up the accusation of grandstanding. I simply don't see the grandstanding. Why not respond to the specific items Lee has written, or just back off? The best you have to offer is "barf bag"? What's your connection, if any, to CLC? I'm curious. What's your own rebuttal to the specific issues that Lee has raised? Is there another "side to the story"? I'd heard about tracking, weathercocking, and deck cracking issues with the CLC boats long before I ever heard of Lee G. I paddle Lake Erie, and inland waters in the winter. I for one appreciate the reviews and the critiques, as long as they are specific because I'm literally putting my life in the hands of the designer when I build their boat and then put it in the water. That's why my first two boats were Pygmy's. John Lockwood and his entire family have spent time in their boats. Nick paddles his own designs, as does Joe Greenley, Rob Macks, and there's loads of pictures of Vaclav paddling his own One Ocean designs.

You started this, respond intelligently or back off.
