: 3 Months??? Holy Cow.. Mine have lasted at least two seasons here...

Either that or our blue tarps are very cheaply made (which is probably on the ball).

: Hmmmmmmmm!! Well, maybe it's because up here the sun just hits and runs off
: and it all collects down there..??? Best I can figure...

Nah, remember its the other way around. Where on the top of the world aren't we :)

: How come you are only half way..?? Better get with it before it gets warm
: down there... Might get a bit toasty in your "shop."

Just come in from the final sand of the deck. Will clean up the workshop tonight then hose it all down (covered kayak) ready for the seal coat tomorrow night. With all the bits and peices to add after fibreglassing 1/2 way is probably right. Plan to launch around Xmas time.

: Hope the extra tarps help.... Are they leaking right through the material..??
: Did you get any sweating through from the cold outside and warm inside..??

In hindsight I could have made everything tighter. The water still has a couple of places where it can collect and it leaks through there. No holes or anything in the tarps, just soaks through. None of the leaks are over the kayak so no problem so far.

: Would have been nice to get some of that HS nylon to make the top, ( good UV
: protection I hear ), but it's a bit pricey for that I would suspect. I
: priced it for my Hoop-House and it would have been in excess of $500.00!
: :-p

Thats a bargin:
Ok $500US is $841NZ, I made 5 dry bags with $40 of material so thats (calculator) 105 dry bags! At $30 per bag retail you save yourself $3150NZ when you no longer need a shelter :)
