No need for folds around the bow and stern (believe it or not)
Because glass cloth has a very open and loose weave (another reason for not buying tightly woven fabric) you can expand and contract (shrink) the cloth. Lay your cloth on the hull. Then gently pat it in to position. Then working from each side of the bow and stern, gently stroke the cloth towards the middle of the boat and the excess cloth will majically diaappear. It actually tightens up the weave. Somtimes you get some excess cloth or wrinkles at the bottom of the middle of the boat. Once you have your cloth nicely wrapping around the bow and stern and laying pretty flat all over, trim it about 1 inch longer than the edge of the hull. Use clothes pins to keep it in place because it will want to slide right off the boat because if its weight.
