thanks guys for the info/confidence boost. i got the hull off the forms and preped the deck for glassing.

now that the hull is off and i the sun it doesnt look that bad. still ugly, but i can see how sanding and refilling will help.

i read to the end of nick's book again and he described the process for "finishing up". the book has been perfect so far, so i think it will turn out alright. still after all the pretty wood-work effort, to screw it up with glass just sux.
