That is sad. A volunteer from the Power Squadron approached us last weekend to ask if he could inspect our boats. We thought he was going to issue tickets for not having noise-makers on board. It turned out to be a voluntary inspection and he just wanted to take an opportunity to go over boating safety. We were happy to oblige.

I don't know what makes people think they are going to be safe out there when conditions get rough.
