After you fell the trees, what about letting a small local sawmill cut them into dimension lumber for you? I don't know what the logistics of getting the logs to the mill would be. I do seem to recall one BBS denizen in the midwest who even offered to trailer his mill to another state to saw a valuable tree that someone had taken down. If you're in an area where timber is harvested you're bound to find the milling and transport services you need.
