: My first fiberglassing turned out fair with one exception. I tried to use
: some epoxy after it became too thick. I have about a foot of area on the
: hull that did not wet out well. I have some white spots up to the size of
: a nickle that are really bothering me. I have always planned to put a
: second layer of glass on the bottom for wearing purpose. Should I sand
: through these bubbles and cover with another layer?
Dear Mr. Smith,
I would sand those bubbles out and patch the sanded area with a layer of fiberglass that extends at least an inch past the boarders of the sanded area. I would also wet out the area beyond the patch to protect the "good" surface from being sanded too much when you go to smooth out the patch's boarder. Good luck.
