My expedition weighs over 50 pounds. My Storm LT weighs 35 (admittedly it is shorter) but the biggest weight saving comes from squeegeeing. Keep doing it until the resin starts to set up. Do this on the first coat especially but continue to do it on all subsequent coats. Keep the fillets small. Use internal stems instead of end pours. Use a lighter weight fabric inside. Did I mention squeegee?
