Dave,
Are you using the lexan as the blade, or to beef up and protect the box? As for the blade, I've used lexan for a few blades now. Yes it scratches real easy, but it is tough! I'm using it because I have it on hand left over from a window job. The guy I get it from (a friend) said he thought PVC sheet would be better for the application, and a lot cheaper.
