I tell you what, I've been looking at several different SG yaks lately and I think the NH is like you say, sexy, but it's a sleek hot rod with room for the feet. I think that it can do several week trips with the volume to carry but the one thing is the hatches: as usual they are way too small. We're going to make a large hinged rear hatch with two hold-downs designed around a thin closed cell gasket that's cheap and available at Home Debit, Lowes and some Dixieline stores here in the states. The front hatch is going to require some thought since it's got a center ridge.

Gotta scoot and do the rounds, actually an early brunch is calling at the first stop. This has been a good week so far!
