you don't need ".001 degree accuracy" nor is it possible. Just make sure you wire it loose and eye every thing before wiring tight. If the table is level and the kayak is level on the table then a plump line is a fine reference to the vertical seam. If you aren't working in a pyramid it'll come out fine. Just make sure the deck isn't peaked at the joint where the four deck panels meet,,that's what happened to me and I think the hull was more pinched than desirable. Personally I think form at those positions would be a good idea but Eric doesn't have them there so maybe it's a familiarity in construction issue.
