Thanks Mike.

I'll be using paduak for the pinstripes (I really like the orange color). One thing I was thinking of trying is gluing the 3/4" strips I've already ripped to cedar strips (using a bunch of cheap clamps made from PCV) and then running the double-wide strip through the tablesaw with the fence set to 7/8". If I'm carefull and lucky, I should get 3 or even 4 pinstripes out of each 3/4" padauk strip.

This will be slow, but I'm planning on building without staples, so performing this step will give me something to do while I'm waiting for the glue to dry on the hull strips. I'll test it out this weekend to ensure the composite stips will still bend as required.
