I am just building my first boat too. i bought Nick's book and another called canoe craft, back in june. I picked the guillemot because its prettier than the others. And the canoe craft book was harder for me to read. Now that i have gone through it, the next boat will be much easier.

Nicks book follows really well and all the information i have used came strisght fromthe book, with the detailes filled in by this BBS.
