Darn! I had bet my friend $20 that you were smokin' crack. So maybe you could fill us in on the joke? I still don't get it. I thought maybe your kid had finally gotten potty trained and you were just overjoyed. Parents tend to get really funny when their kids learn to go by themselves. I hate going to a friend's house and they say "Malcolm, Johnny has learned to go to the bathroom all by himself, isn't that great?" And then of course I have to act excited at this unusual news and say "Oh that's wonderful Johnny, I'm so proud of you." Actually between us I'm really thinking "I hope when I have have kids I don't lose my mind like these people did."

So Chris, do you build guitars too? I would love to do that. I play slide blues, mostly in G and D tuning. I've got a knock-off metal resonator, and a few nice wood guitars. I would really like to build an arch-top acoustic with a single humbucker for playing slide blues. I was in Miami a week or two ago and they had a nice old Gibson like what I just described, but it was $ 3,0000. Yikes!!! The guy kept wanting to get it down for me and I just had to tell him it wouldn't be right because I knew for a fact I couldn't afford it even if I wanted to buy it.

Jim and Chris, post some pics of the guitars. I'm sure these kayak builders would appreciate it.
