Check out the Waters Dancing link below. The Lightning 17 just might be up your alley. She's fast, stable and carried a months worth of provisions and equipment for that trip you've always wanted to do. I'm using mine to travel across Canada from the ROckies to Hudson Bay. Donnie has also come out with a Solace 18EX, narrower beam but even more stable than the Lightning but with the same carrying capacity.
