I inlaid a bunch of abalone diamonds in a trim strip on my Storm, but haven't really spent the time to "make pretty" with any of my kayaks, yet. Too much of a hurry to make a functional boat. I may spend more time with decoration on whatever I build this winter, either a Laughing Loon Firestar, Redfish King (I have the plans for both), or I may talk to Matt Broze about building a Coaster. I was born in the Chinese year of the Dragon and keep seeing a dragon veneer/inlay on a boat deck. I think that would look way cool on a Firestar, especially since that term is also used to describe a comet, and the Chinese symbol for a comet is a dragon.

If I ever make it to your neck of the woods, we'll have to play some music!
