What's up with that s-glass on the right? That's not what any s-glass has done to me. Where did it come from? The weave looks more to a resin starvation issue in one part of the image and some kind of problem in wet-out in another part. I saw a weave print in a wood yak at a recent yak show that showed the same general conditions but the owner wasn't around to ask about the situation.
Any idea what the cause is???

have you tried triaxial s-glass? It's the tight weave satin stuff, in 1.5 and 3 oz range. That's the stuff he's referring to and not the conventional weave.

: and one fill coat. What the photo shows is the difference in appearance
: between E glass and S glass. Both are clear, but the weave in the S glass
: is more visible. Some of the effect in this image is the interference
: (Moire) pattern caused by the two layers. Single layers of S glass simply
: show the repeating pattern of the weave.
