I am on the final days of work on an Osprey and I'm using System 3 WB-LPU for the finish coat.
I pretty happy with the results after three coats thinned 25% with water. The coats were made in one day. It has now been three days since the final coat was applied.
It is time for the final coat(s). Now a few questions:
1) Do I need to sand before the final coats? If so what grit (320, 600, 800)?
2) How many coats of cross-linked LPU should I use? I was thinking two would be good.
3) After the cross-linked coats, what do you do about drips?
4) Last question!!! Do you thin the cross-linked coats, or is gloss higher with out the addition of water?
I know the kayak board is up to it .... help!
