I've done this so I could work in -10 C weather. I used a desk lamp, 60 watts (I think). It worked well. The lamp warmed the yak very nicely. I think the idea of using a small fan should make the idea more effective. You could set it up by attaching the fan to a board, maybe a 1x4, with the bulb attached in front of it. The fan can blow air over the bulb and the rest is history. THe alternative idea is to move everything to Mom's garage and work there, that's what I had to do. The temperatures here are plummetting to -22 C this weekend and we're getting 20-30 mm of snow as I type this. *sigh* Winter paddling season is starting early this year.
