Agree with you and the others on how valuable cabinet scrapers can be - I hadn't heard of them either until my first Pygmy kit. F.Y.I., I found another idea in the archives that has been very valuable to me: Using 1/4" cut glass rectangles as cabinet scrapers. These work as well or better than steel, and take quite awhile to dull. I had some scrap laying about the shop, and simply cut a few with a cheap glass scribe and a straightedge. The only word of warning I'd have is to be sure to wear gloves and/or duct-tape the non-working edges!
