: Try this: Get some ACRYLIC paint from the art supply store (Please - NOT the
: oil based stuff) and squirt a dab into a sample cup of Resin. Just a touch
: is all you'll need. Shouldn't cost more than $5-$10 and you'll have plenty
: left over.

I tried some of my daughter's Acrylic in a sample cup of epoxy. It came out a nice blue in the cup. One coat on a scrap of plywood looks, er rather icky. The color of the wood and the blue resin look a little green. I'll try a second coat tonight.

Since I mixed about twice as much as I was using I am trying something that I think I read here: I have the leftover in a cup in the freezer. I hope to be able to use that tonight.

It is good that I have plenty of time for experimenting. I still don't know how I want to finish this thing (A S&G Chesapeake 17).
