Hi Roland -

I'll check on the width when I get home and let you know. I would guess it's around 18-20" wide. They are very comfortable seats and can be further padded with foam if you want. The seat is stitched and glued just like the hull. No tape, one small fillet at the joint where the bottom of the seat meets the front at a right angle, but the whole thing will be covered top and bottom with a layer of glass, just like the hull.
