In Response To: Strip: Where to store the strips??? (Michel Lafrance)

Hi, Michel,

As I rip each board into strips, I keep them in order and tape them together with 1" packing tape. They store beatifully between floor joists in the basement ceiling. Just scab some 12" 1x2s every four feet or so perpendicular to the joists (assuming you've got floor joists 16" OC), and put up the strips.

Enjoy building when you get to it! Mike
