presuming this yak is outside and inside glassed, another approach would be to this work with it vertical. that way the epoxy could be dribbled down, or the seam tape would fall down and your arms wouldn't get tired holding them up.
need a ladder for the other side seaming, but conceivably could dribble/pour the epoxy down and rotate the yak to distribute it around initially.
