why is it so important to store the strips by board? In stripping my kayak I found the best way to get an even color from more than 5 feet away was to mix up the strips so that it would all blend in. (kind of like those pixelated paintings)I've seen pictures of boats made by ussing only one board at a time and the looked like the had wide stripes and their owners weren't happy with having done it that way. If you like it, that's fine, but is there some other reason?
BTW you could wrap the strips with that plastic wrapping stuff, the stuff that's like saran wrap.
