In Response To: Paddling the N Sask OT (Ken Sutherland)

...we can now do the yakboggan thing. I looked at the river today, it's freezing up slowly but surely. I'm sure it will be perfect for some nice icy paddling when you get here. The rebuild is ready to go so I'll be in it, you can take the VJ, it has a spray skirt, the rebuild, at this point, doesn't. We'll video it so everyone can see what the yakboggan approach to paddling looks like. I'm going out sometime this week to test the waters and launch the rebuild. I haven't launched it yet because of the weather and, of course, night shift. I gotta try and sew up a spray skirt sometime this week. I think I'll ask the wife to do that for me. I'll measure things up and see if I can find some good heavy nylon or something for her to work with.
