With this weeks weather your not kidding: rain for 1 minute, sunshine the next! But I really think the glass itself has had its finish damaged. It was fairly ragged looking when I got it compared to other glass I have seen.

Hey, I'm the same, can't stand Yuckland. But the KASK symposium is at Orewa about 40km away, all you have to do is close your eyes when you are on the motorway (all the other drivers seem to :) ). It would be great to see the strip Bardarka, there is only one other Bardarka in NZ that I know off (canvas).

By the way have you tried a heat gun on the milky surface? Otherwise set it out in the hot sun to bake for awhile. If this doesn't work and you have to remove the glass then stripping off with a hot air gun is much eaiser then sanding. I'm about to do it once again tonight :(
