I left the forms out of my first yak when I glassed and wished that I didn't When it came to glassing the deck and hull together, I had a lot more work trying to get them flush. On top of that, after I taped the two togetherthere were areas that did not hold together with the pressure that the tape caused on the sheer. I am about to glass my second boat and will definitely leave the forms in until I get the hull and deck seal coated and glassed.

I think it will save some work.
