As long as the panels hold together for your stitch-up and take you through the glassing stage, you should be just fine.

I don't know if that design only calls for taping for interior seams. I would glass the entire interior in that area rather than just a tape application to take the load off the joint.

Before glassing with epoxy, I'd do a thorough wipe down with acetone, rough up the resin surface that shows and wipe with acetone again.
