Hi Paul and Robert,
Thanks Paul for the dimensions. This standard seat will NOT fit in my kayak. I could maybe design and build a smaller version, but might be not as comfortable. I’ll make a prototype first and take it from there. Lucky me, my bum is still small, despite middle age. (Robert, I RUN and kayak, just not on the same day). But serious, Robert your trip is quite an accomplishment. Long days and not just speed are the secret of paddling distances. Here in Winnipeg, I got to know Don Starkell, and he says a lot of people are thinking he was crazy! I’m certainly don’t share that view. Anyway, I enjoyed reading your trip reports and looking forward to your next adventure. Thanks for sharing. Roland
