You built it with your wife? Does she work on the boats with you too then? Man I've been trying to get my sister in law to build herself a boat. I think her and her husband would really be able to catch a groove...just a feeling.

Good Shop! I'm working out of my Mom's garage, and since she needs to park her car in it, everything folds or stacks away at the end of each session. No heat, and two shop lights over the strong back supplimented by a living room light with out a lamp shade, and one of those halogens used by painters when neccessary. Your "bounce lighting" is ideal...it's the way they light automobiles in TV/Film studios...no hits from small units, and the huge source of a 20'X20' screen (it's like a tarp stretched around a frame, painted white on one side, black on the other) reflects on the surface making the finish visible to the camera. That is the effect you get from your white walls.

Good job on Carol's boat...the recessed coaming area worked well for you, and the strips along the inner rim of the coaming look real smooth...good strip pattern too. I'm sure Mr. Schade will smile when he sees it.
