I did an Arctic Tern and a canoe using Interlux 2-part, and an Osprey recently using the System 3 WB-LPU.

The Interlux is very tough. I can drag the canoe across the dock without even dulling the gloss -- not one scratch. However is is toxic stuff, smells horrble, you need a mask, gloves, and a place with lots of fresh air.

The WB-LPU is easy to use, dries in less than an hour for recoat, cleans up with water, and could be done inside the house with our and odor.

I still gloved up and work a mask as precations.

Both are thin -- like milk. I rolled both and tipped out both with a foam brush. About the same issues, but the WB-LPU dries so much quicker you have to work fast. I did get three coats and then two cross-linked coats in one day. It is great to start and finish you UV coat in one day.

I would NEVER uses the Interlux again. I think that the WB-LPU is just as hard and is not as toxic, expensive, or time consumming.

Just my three cents...

: Hi Steve,

: I was thinking of the two part stuff that interlux sells. I don't remember
: the name off the top but I found it on the One Ocean web site. It would be
: interesting to hear from someone with first hand experience with both.
