Brad, I had a bit of that which worried me at the time but the general advice on the board is keep it on the forms as much as possible and get it back on the forms as soon as possible after glassing the inside (when the epoxy is dry). Any left over misfit with the deck can be coaxed back into place with inside bracing, external wedges, tape, straps and a variety of other techniques when you are fitting the 2 halves together. (I used a combo of all of them and it was fine). There is plenty more detailed info in the archives if you need it. One reference I found useful for wedges is at http://www.geocities.com/kentsyaks/shearfit.html I used hotmelt not epoxy on the fitting and it worked fine.
cheers
David
