Yup, tis true. I used to do the same to my Thistle and Pearson ( a big job) and have helped with lots of other big boats. About the meanest thing a person could do to someone else is rainex or wax their hull. At least so we all thought. On a end of the season fun race I asked a feisty competitor if his boat felt slow as I had rainexed his hull. I hadn't, but his concentration was so destroyed he was not a factor that day. I guess this does not prove much except that we liked to mess with each others heads. I'm much more mature now, I promise.
