: I don't want to open a huge can of worms. I've only built one stripper. But.. I've heard the statement that the wood is just the core. The glass and apoxy do all the work repeated as dogma many times. I always wonder what about a stitch and glue boat where they often use no glass over much of the surface and they often use thinner wood as well?

That said I would never use epoxy on the strip joints. I can only see a very messy hard too clean up and slow to build situation compared to just using titebond.
